We Only Get One Body is a blog dedicated to talking all things body positivity, mental health and self-love from the perspective of a 20-something insider of the modelling industry today.

It’s an honest and unfiltered platform where I share personal thoughts, feelings and experiences from working in the industry to social media to just plain old navigating life, and everything in between. Unfortunately for my exes; nothing is off limits.

My name is Lucy Bennett and you may recognise me from… Just kidding, unless you’re an avid catalogue collector or stalker you shan’t be recognising me in a hurry. I have however been working as a ‘curve’ model for over 7 years now, all over the UK, Europe and Australia. It’s been a career of many insane ups but also downs so far, and as much as I love what I do, its not all sunshine and rainbows and hasn’t come without many a struggle in the past *flashbacks to 15 hour waitressing shifts to pay my rent for a room in South West London that I SHARED*. However, writing is my outlet and being honest and open on here (as an extension of life’s highlight reel that is Instagram) I hope helps break down the façade that anybody has a perfect life. And hey, if not then at least it’s free therapy for me!
